SUBJECT: 47TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY
The forthcoming matric marks the 47th Matriculation Ceremony of the University of Calabar (UNICAL). The earlier postponed Matriculation ceremony has been scheduled as follows:
- Date: 26th January, 2024
- Time: 10:00am prompt
- Venue: Abraham Ordia Stadium, UNICAL
The UNICAL registrar has, on 15th January 2024, announced that UNICAL Matriculation ceremony holds on Friday 26th January, 2024.
Faculty/Institute Officers should ensure that matriculating students start procession at 8:30am. The Vice Chancellor’s procession is scheduled to commence at 9:30am while the ceremony kicks off from 10:00am.
In line with the Vice Chancellor’s directive, Thursday, January 25th, 2024 has been declared Lecture Free Day for all freshmen to enable them participate fully in the ceremony. Provost, Deans of Faculties/Directors of Institutes and Heads of Departments/Units are to ensure strict compliance with this directive, please.
