Notice: matriculation ceremony that was earlier scheduled to hold on Friday, 28 October 2022 has been postponed indefinitely due to the one-month industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The new date will be communicated to the public in due course. We deeply regret the inconvenience.

UNIZIK Matriculation Ceremony Date 2024
The schedule for the upcoming UNIZIK matric ceremony of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK) has been officially announced. The Matriculation Ceremony of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK)  for the 2022/2023 freshmen holds on Friday, 28th October 2022 at UNIZIK Main Campus by 10am.
The faculties under the College of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will hold theirs at designated points in front of the University library.
Meanwhile, the Orientation exercise which precedes matriculation is set to happen from Wednesday, 26 October to Thursday, 27 October 2022 at the premises of Basil Oli dorm, Awka campus of the University.
The newly admitted students are expected to be seated at the orientation venue by 9 am daily.
Parents and guardians of the matriculating students and indeed the general public are cordially invited to the ceremony.
